If your business or non-profit organisation takes you to high risk locations, undeveloped countries or conflict zones, then you will be aware of the risks of operating in these environments. Disease, personal injury, the threat of terrorism, civil unrest and violent crime are all real and require a level of planning. By partnering with us we provide that security layer that allows you to be successful in your endeavours while providing you confidence that your risk is being well managed.
Travel Security in 5 Questions Q. As a business why do I need any level of travel security training A: Simply the world is not get safer. On the contrary it's getting worse. If you or your staff are travelling to developing countries or those that suffer from political unrest, high levels of crime or terrorism then you are a target. If you accept that fact then you owe it to yourself and your staff to be a little more knowledgeable and therefore prepared. Our training does this. Q. What training do I need. A. Great question. To answer it, requires a conversation to understand your destination, your intentions and your exposure and tolerance to risk. So let's have that conversation as a starting point. Q: How long does the training take A: We have one hour, high level presentations that focus on country risk and travelling do’s and don't’s through to training session run over several days concentrating on destination specific training, travel awareness scenarios, anti kidnap and escape and evasion. In consultation with you we also cover off practical “what if” scenarios which are specific to your destination and operating environment. Q: Do I need to take security with me or a close protection team. A: Well that really depends. What is the risk you are trying to mitigate and what is the likelihood and consequence of it occurring ? If we can answer those questions honestly then having security accompany you is certainly an option and is one used by many individuals and companies throughout the world. Highly trained with an uncommon set of skills we have provided this capability to heads of state, visiting dignitaries, VIP’s travelling into war zones and a number of highly successful rock bands on tour around the world. They have put their trust in Group Q and if you require the same service then contact us and benefit from this trust and confidence which enables you to go about your business endeavours knowing you have a quality team managing your security. Q: We have staff that live and work overseas, what do I need to do about their training and preparedness A: Understand that they are at risk is a good start point. Equally it will be important to understand your requirements under the new health and safety legislation. Regardless of the legal position there is a moral duty of care to ensure your staff are trained and prepared for their foreign operating environment. From here we can do any level of training including in country education, through to emergency evacuation, critical incident management, contingency planning and media response. If the country you operate in is prone to politically instability, terrorism, high levels of criminal attack or police and judicial corruption then you need to seriously consider the safety and security of your people and do something about it. That something can start with a conversation. call us today ! BENEFITS
